SHIPPING WITHIN NEW ZEALAND

  • $10 Flat Rate Shipping NZ Wide
  • $6.50 Local Delivery - available for a limited time.
  • $30 Outer Islands (Great Barrier, Waiheke, Chatham & Stewart Islands). Larger parcels may incur extra costs, you'll be billed and emailed if so.
  • Due to the rising postal prices large parcels such as hats may incur extra shipping fees.
  • All New Zealand orders are currently shipped with gosweetpot.com, the courier will be decided upon shipping but generally the couriers used are FASTWAYS, POST HASTE and NZ COURIERS.
  • Orders are generally delivered within 2 working days of being shipped, delays may apply to rural addresses. If you do not receive your order within 5 days of being shipped please contact us.
  • Rural addresses are charged an extra fee, this is reflective of the rural charges which are charged by the courier companies
  • Please ensure you include special delivery notes for your parcel or we advise delivering to a work address where the parcel can be signed for.
  • We highly advise not instructing  the courier to leave your goods unattended for your safety.
  • We are not able to post to PO BOX addresses please provide a non PO BOX address.
  • Sometimes we may need to send your order in two deliveries, if this is the case we will update you. You will not be charged extra than the flat rate for shipping charged on your order.
  • Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email notification with a tracking number, please check your junk or spam box for our emails.
  • Orders placed on the weekend or on a public holiday will be posted on the next available working day.
  • It is the customers responsibility to track the movement of your order but if for some reason you do have any problems please email us and we will assist you the best we can.
  • If items are returned to Neon Collective due to a failed attempted delivery Neon  Collective will not be able to reimburse shipping costs. It is at the customers expense and the customer’s responsibility to follow any tracking updates on their parcel as provided via the tracking email.
  • International orders are shipping with either Aramex.com or NZPOST.
  • Our shipping rates fluctuate due to the changing cost in freight. Please see the top of our website for current shipping rates.
  • Orders returned that receive free shipping - returned orders may be subject to shipping fee deductions on refunds or store credit. This includes sale items that are valid and accepted for an online credit, the shipping fee will be deducted from your online credit note.
  • Free Shipping with a Minimum Spend Promotions - From time to time, we may offer promotions where you can access free shipping when your order meets the stated minimum spend threshold. If you return all or part of an order that originally qualified for free shipping and your remaining order total falls below the free shipping threshold, the original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund or credit note. If, after the return, your remaining order total still meets the free shipping minimum spend requirement, no shipping fee will be deducted.

  • Your parcel will be sent using New Zealand Post and EMS Courier. You will need to use the EMS website to track your parcel for final delivery into Australia.

The providers have been chosen are based on the best current available rates for your order. Please make sure you are well aware of your countries import rules and regulations prior to placing your order, this is the customer's responsibility.   • Your parcel will either be sent using one of these shipping providers: DHL Express  (a fast and efficient service, however it does mean your parcel may be more liable for import taxes and duties upon import into your country), New Zealand Post, EMS Courier or Fedex. If you have a preferred shipping provider please reach out and we will try our best but cannot guarantee. The provider will be chosen based on rates available for your order. Please make sure you are well aware of your countries import rules and regulations prior to placing your order, this is the customer's responsibility.   • It it the customers responsibility to check our postage rates BEFORE placing an order, sorry we aren’t able to offer discounted international postage rates at this stage.

Tracking

  • This is a tracking international economy courier service, sorry we are unfortunately unable to offer cheaper or discounted rates for international postage services from New Zealand.
  • Our service includes international express courier and the cost of shipping materials (bags + packaging).
  • It is the customers responsibility to track the movement of your order but if for some reason you do have any problems please email us and we will assist you the best we can.

Customs Tax & Duty Fees

Neon  Collective is legally required to declare the full value paid on shipments and must include an invoice for customs should they require it. Product Details

Palo Santo, or ‘Holy Wood’, (Bursera graveolens) is a natural wood known for centuries by the Incas and other South American indigenous cultures as a spiritual remedy. Burnt much like a sage smudge, for purifying, cleansing, and clearing negative energies. It creates an amazing aroma when burnt and the smoke should work well to raise your vibration, enhance creativity, clear the way for positive energy to flow.

We source our Palo Santo from Peru. It is sustainably harvested from fallen branches.

So many people, spaces and objects we are surrounded by can easily drain energy. Smudging can help to cleanse this energy and bring it back to its purest form.

Smudging is different for everyone, it is important to make it your own and follow your intuition. Don’t feel like you need to follow set instructions just do what feels natural to you.

BELOW ARE SOME TIPS TO GET YOU STARTED

What you need:

Smudge stick, Ashtray or Bowl to catch the embers, Lighter or candle

First it works best if you choose your intention, this could be something as simple as “to create a home

  • Make sure you have an ashtray, bowl or shell handy. This is important to catch any embers during the smudging. Be careful if you have fire alarms as the smoke produced can cause them to go off if you are using it too closely. I recommend to open doors and windows in your house, this will also help the smoke to carry the negativity out with it.
  • Light the end of your smudge stick and allow the flame to burn for 30 seconds, sometimes you may find it easier to use a candle to do this. Then blow it out and allow the smoke to spread. (It is normal for your smudge stick to need lighting a few times)
  • Carry the smudge stick with you over your bowl, let the smoke flow through the areas you want to cleanse. Keeping your intention present with you imagine the smoke taking the negative energy with it as the smoke dissipates.
  • Gently wave the smudge stick throughout your space, taking it to every corner to allow all areas to be cleansed leaving you with fresh and positive energy. Smudging only needs to be done for a few minutes to feel its benefits, but you can do it for as long as feels needed in a space.
  • Follow your intuition into any spaces where the energy is dense and guide the smoke around. You should feel when the energy has cleared and it is time to move to the next space.
  • Once you feel like you have finished with your sage wand you can smudge out the embers to stop it from burning. Sometimes it will burn out on its own but it is safe to wet the ends to ensure it is safely put out. This means you can keep using your smudge stick whenever you feel like you or your spaces need cleansing.
  • When you have used all that you can of your smudge stick, to finish the ritual you can bury it in your back yard to but the past behind you.

CLEANSING YOUR BODY

  • To cleanse your own energy, use the lit Sage and allow the smoke to drift over your body, starting at you feet and working your way up to your head. Visualise the smoke removing all the negative energy from your body and keep your intention present.

CLEANSING YOUR CRYSTALS

  • Just like us our crystals can hold onto negative energy. It is important to cleanse them to bring them back to their most powerful form.
  • Once your sage is burning you can guide the smoke over your crystals, this works well when you have a large collection. Alternatively you can hold the crystal over the smoke stream to allow it to flow through.
  • Cleansing crystals in water also works, but some crystals shouldn’t get wet as this can ruin them. So sage is a cleansing routine that is safe on all crystals if you’re unsure

  • When moving in a new home to cleanse it of the last occupants energy and allow you to start fresh.
  • To cleanse energy from you, a space or an object (this includes your crystals)
  • When your energy is low and you are feeling anxious or stressed.
  • To allow you to focus, with work, study or just day-to-day life.
